The Delhi Metro is a metro system serving New Delhi and its satellite cities of Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad in National Capital Region in India. Delhi Metro is the world's 12th largest metro system in terms of length and also 12th largest in terms of number of stations.
DMRC ECS / TVS PROJECTS – SCOPE OF WORK OF UNDERGROUND
The Scope of work of the subject project is Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Environmental Control System, , Building Management System and Tunnel Ventilation system for all Underground Stations. Major Mechanical equipments Like Water Cooled Chillers, Air Cooled Chiller, Condensor Water Pumps,Primary Chilled water Pumps, Secondary Chilled Water Pumps with VFD , Air Cooled Chiller Pumps, Cooling Tower, Water Treatment System, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Ventilation Supply and Exhaust Fans, Smoke Exhaust Fans, Motorised Fire Dampers, Motorised Dampers, Valves, Tunnel Ventilation Fans, Tunnel Booster Fans, Trackway Exhaust Fans, Nozzles, Sound Attenuators, etc are required for the execution of Encitonrmental Control System and Tunnel Ventilation system of these underground stations. Major electrical equipments are LT Distribution system including Switchboards and Distribution Boards, Cabling, Cable containment System, Earthing etc are required for the related systems. The Complete Building Management System with SCADA works including the PLC, Cabling, Cable Containment ,flow sensors and temperature sensors etc for all Electrical and Mechanical services are also required for the system.

The Scope of work of the subject project is Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning of Electrical, Hydraulics and Fire Systems of underground metro station as a variation to the existing contract. Major electrical equipments like LT Distribution system including Switchboards and Distribution Boards, Cabling, Cable containment System, Wiring, Lighting, Earthing and Lighting Protection System etc are required for the execution of the system. Also major hydraulics system like Water Supply, Water Treatment, Bore Well, Seepage System, Sewage System and Pumping Installations and Fire Fighting systems like Fire Detection and Alarm system, Hydrant, Sprinkler, Fire Suppression Systems, Gas Suppression System etc are also required to execute Electrical and Mechanical works of Underground Metro Stations.

The Chennai Metro Rail is a rapid transit system in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Phase I of the project consists of two corridors covering a length of 45.1 kilometres.
Since 2003, beginning with the Delhi Metro Rail Project Phase I, ETA Engineering, Delhi has secured a continuous flow of new contracts from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for Delhi Metro Rail Projects. Based on our excellent continued track record on Metro Rail Projects, ETA Engineering, Chennai has been awarded Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase 1 against stiff competition from the Global Bidders. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has been appointed as the Prime Consultants for Phase -1 of the Project. ETA has been maintaining a long and successful relationship with DMRC for being associated with them in their various packages of Delhi Metro Rail Projects for the past 8 years.
The scope of works includes Design, build, coordination, procurement, installation, testing and successful commissioning of Tunnel Ventilation System for 19 Under Ground Stations on Corridor 1 (Washermanpet – Chennai Central – Airport) & Corridor 2 (Chennai Central – Anna Nagar – St. Thomas Mount) and the tunnel length for Corridor 1 is 14.3 km and Corridor 2 is 9.695 km. The tunnel ventilation system shall consists of Track way exhaust system including fans, dampers and steel duct works, interface of the SCADA and associated electrical power supply and distribution system.
